Dr Essam Sarhan is a consultant psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience providing comprehensive mental health care. He combines clinical expertise with a calm, collaborative approach that supports people in navigating a wide range of mental health concerns.

Essam completed his medical training and obtained his fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (USA). He has worked extensively across public and private psychiatric services, gaining broad experience in treating depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related presentations, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

He has a particular interest in adult ADHD assessment and treatment, and values the opportunity to provide thorough diagnostic evaluation. In his practice, Essam works closely with each person to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect both evidence and individual needs.
